Commercial Lighting in Islamabad

Lighting supply for offices, shops, restaurants, hotels and clinics — specified to the task, quoted against your BOQ, and delivered to site.

Commercial lighting is judged differently from a home. It has to give the right amount of light for the work, keep glare off screens, run for long hours at low cost, and still be the same fitting when twenty more are ordered a year later.

Voltedge supplies lighting for commercial interiors and exteriors in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. We work from your drawings or bill of quantities, recommend fittings by lumen output, beam angle, colour temperature and IP rating, and quote for the whole project.

By type of space

Offices and co-working floors
LED panels or linear lights for even, low-glare light across desks at 4000K; downlights for corridors and reception; feature pendants or a ring light for the lobby. Panels are available for T-grid, clip-in (Dampa) and surface mounting.
Retail and showrooms
Track lighting with adjustable spots is the standard, because displays change. Use a high CRI so products look true, and a narrower beam on merchandise than on the floor.
Restaurants, cafés and hotels
Warm, dimmable layers: pendants over tables, cove and wall lighting for atmosphere, and brighter task light kept to the counter and kitchen. Rechargeable table lamps suit outdoor seating.
Clinics, salons and classrooms
Uniform, comfortable light with good colour rendering; panels and flat downlights with diffusers that do not yellow.
Warehouses and workshops
High-bay fittings for tall spaces, batten lights for aisles, and flood lights for yards.
Facades and exteriors
Wall washers, linear facade lights, flood lights and programmable pixel lighting for building elevations, plus bollards and pole lights for the grounds.

What we need to quote a project

  • A BOQ or lighting schedule, if you have one — we price it line by line.
  • Reflected ceiling plans or floor plans, where fittings are still to be chosen.
  • Ceiling type and height, and whether fittings are recessed, surface or suspended.
  • Preferred colour temperature and any dimming or control requirement (DALI, 0-10V).
  • Quantities and the delivery location and date.

Specifying for long hours

In a space lit ten or twelve hours a day, efficiency and driver quality matter more than the purchase price. Compare fittings by lumens per watt rather than by watts, check the power factor, and keep spare fittings from the same batch for later replacements. We can advise which ranges in our catalogue are made for continuous commercial use.

Questions we are asked

Can you quote against our BOQ?

Yes. Send the BOQ or lighting schedule and we will price each line, and suggest equivalent fittings where a specified item is not available.

Do you supply in bulk for whole projects?

Yes. We supply project quantities and can stage deliveries to match the site programme.

What colour temperature is best for an office?

4000K natural white is the usual choice for offices: it is alert without being harsh. Reception and lounge areas are often set warmer at 3000K.

Are your panels suitable for Dampa ceilings?

Yes. We stock clip-in panels made for metal clip-in (Dampa) ceilings, as well as panels for T-grid and surface mounting.
