About Bulbs
A smart bulb fits an ordinary lamp holder and is controlled from a phone: on and off, brightness, white tone and colour. It is the simplest way to add dimming and colour to a room without changing any wiring.
Before you buy
Check the cap type of your fitting, and that the bulb's app and any voice assistant you use are supported. The wall switch has to stay on for the bulb to respond to the app.

Bluetooth bulbs pair directly with a phone. Check the product for what it needs.
Can a smart bulb go in any fitting?
In any fitting with the matching cap, provided it is not on a separate wall dimmer.
