About Silicone Profile Light
Silicone profile does what aluminium cannot: it bends. It is a flexible diffuser tube for LED strip, used to draw smooth, dot-free lines of light around curves, arches, circular ceilings and columns.
Choosing a size
Profiles are described by their cross-section in millimetres. A larger section gives a wider, softer line and hides the LEDs more completely; a smaller one makes a fine line and bends tighter. Some have a collar for recessing into a groove; corner and floor versions are also made.
Indoor and outdoor
Silicone is sealed and flexible, so it is used outside on building outlines as well as inside. Seal every end and joint if it will be exposed to rain.

How tightly can silicone profile bend?
It depends on the section and the direction of bend. Tell us the radius you need and we will suggest a profile.
Silicone or aluminium profile?
Aluminium for straight runs; silicone for curves and for exposed outdoor lines.
